Did you know that it takes approximately 20,000 liters of water to produce 1 kg of cotton? Recycled cotton comes from excess textiles. After the textile surplus is collected, it is sorted by color and then crushed to obtain cotton fiber again. Therefore, the cotton fiber is already in the color of the first fabric and therefore the cotton does not need to be dyed, avoiding one of the most polluting stages of the manufacturing process. For this reason, as Temper Denim, we pay attention to the use of recycled cotton by showing our love and gratitude to nature in our products.
